Valuing creativity and stick-to-it-ness, persistence and determination are one of Allie's highest attributes. Allie is a ProSales and Entrepreneurship double major and member of Alpha Kappa Psi and Alpha Chi Omega, she has held several leadership positions, including freshman representative for standards, fall recruitment, and the highly selected Block Party Committee.
In ProSales, Allie has enjoyed the opportunity to network with many different companies, and through this process has learned how to push herself outside of her comfort zone. Recently, Allie created her own business model for an entirely new business idea, seeking to improve any project she takes on through her creative outlook. Bringing this same vision to her personal life, pushing past her fears, she bungee jumped off a 110-story building!
Allie values others deeply and believes that your greatest asset is a genuine relationship with another human being. She is grateful for the like-minded community ProSales has provided and for her peers who push her to be better. Allie is ready to bring her creativity and persistence to her future sales career.
Senior Feature
Summer Internship
Over the summer of 2022, I got the opportunity of being 1 out of 15 interns in the nation for Shaw Industries. While being with Shaw, I learned the skill of adaptability by being placed into different situations adapting to my environment, applying my sales skills, and learning many of Shaw's different technologies used, such as Salesforce.
Alongside this, I led an intern group project reviewing our analysis of the flooring market and presented market analysis findings to executives of Shaw resulting in first place.
Prospecting
In the Professional Selling Program, we are to generate leads of assigned companies and arrange meetings with the career center acting as a liaison to better build out Baylor University's pipeline.
Achieved 400% over our expected criteria goal of bringing companies into Baylor University and facilitating meetings with the career center.
New Venture Project
The objective of this assignment was to create a new venture business idea and evaluate specific criteria segments compared to market dominating brands to see the overall fit of our new venture and its survival rate in the market based off intensive research and required field work, such as customer and expert interviews. We described the target market, evaluate the competition, identify the legal form of organization and government regulations, profile the go to market strategy, estimate the initial capital requirements and financial projections, highlight the timetable for establishing the venture, and indicate how the venture will be financed or funded.
